- We believe there is one true God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, is holy, sovereign, and is to be glorified, honored, and worshiped. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Colossians 1:16-17)
- We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and infallible word of God and is completely sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. The Bible is the foundation for all truth and is our guide to live in the fullness of Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 30:5)
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he humbled himself and descended from heaven to earth to live fully as God and fully as a man. Jesus lived a sinless life, chose to sacrifice himself through death on a cross, and rose again to a resurrected life making full atonement for our sin and providing salvation and reconciliation with God for all who put their faith in him. (John 1:1-5; John 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:14-15)
- We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers and through his transforming power convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, guiding us in all truth empowering each believer to bear fruit as we walk in obedience to Christ and to resist the temptation to walk in our sinful desires. (John 14:26; John 16:8; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:1-3)
- We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, and fellowship. The local church is essential for spiritual growth, accountability and support; through it those stuck in sin or affected by it can find healing, encouragement, and strength to walk in obedience to Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:42)
- We believe the power of Scripture, prayer, repentance, and fellowship brings healing and restoration. God calls believers to walk in the light which includes, accountability, grace, and truth, seeking to restore broken relationships and overcome sin through guidance of His word and the support of the local church. (Psalm 51:10-13; Galatians 6:1-2; James 5:16)
- We believe in the ultimate victory of Christ. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, to establish his eternal kingdom, and to restore all things to him. Those who trust in Him will dwell forever with Christ and those who reject Him in this life will face eternal separation from Him. (Matthew 25:31-46; Philippians 2:9-11; Revelations 21:1-4)
